Academic Labor Relations

The Office of Academic Labor Relations is responsible for managing the University’s labor and employee relations program for represented academic employees, including (Unit 3) faculty and (Unit 11) academic student employees. The office advises management, faculty, and staff on policies and procedures related to the administration of collective bargaining agreements (Units 3 and 11) and related SDSU and CSU policies. The office can consult on all matters of concern or conflict among faculty at SDSU, regardless of rank or status. This process supplements, but does not replace, the University's formal channels, such as the grievance process.
